What was the transition like coming from Illinois to Connecticut? It was pretty easy because a lot of girls on the team are from the Midwest too. Being with them for awhile made it a smooth transition.

What is it like having such a prominent role on the team as a freshman? It's a lot of fun just to be on the court and being able to make a contribution to the team.

What is the best thing about being a UConn volleyball player? I just enjoy playing my heart out and knowing my teammates are doing the same thing.

Do you have any pre-game rituals or superstitions? I don't personally, but we have a team dance party before every match.

What do you like to do when you're not playing volleyball? I like listening to music, relaxing and just hanging out.

Who is your favorite pro athlete and why? Misty May and Keri Walsh because they are so successful and they are volleyball players.
