With trash talk from Jets' coach Rex Ryan coupled with a response from Tom Brady, everybody knew Sunday's game between the AFC North rivals was going to be a heated battle.
With a defensive showcase from both teams in the first half, and a bit of an offensive surge from the rookie QB Mark Sanchez, the Jets pulled out a win at home handing Patriots coach Bill Belichick only his second loss to a team starting a rookie QB.
The Jets' victory over the Patriots is the first time they've beaten the Patriots at the Meadowlands since 2000.
Big Letdown: Then-No.7 Bringham Young Univeristy's 54-28 loss to Florida State.
