Another weekend, another slew of great match-ups. While it's impossible to go see every game, here are some can't-miss UConn games for you to follow:
The one you should attend:
Women's Basketball NCAA Tournament: No. 16 Vermont vs. No. 1 UConn, Sunday 12 p.m. at Gampel Pavilion
On Sunday, the Huskies start their quest for a sixrh National Championship season. And what better place to start off than in the heart of Storrs at Gampel Pavilion?
Maya Moore leads the team with 19.1 points and 9.1 rebounds, while Tina Charles and Renee Montgomery are close behind with averages of 16 and 15.8 points a game, respectively.
The one you should watch:
Men's Basketball NCAA Tournament: No. 9 Texas A&M vs. No. 1 UConn, Saturday, 3:35 p.m., Wachovia Center, Philadelphia
North Carolina impressed viewers with their 101-58 beat-down of Radford. Shortly after the Tar Heels game ended on Thursday, UConn put Chattanooga away, 103-47.
Whether or not Jim Calhoun will coach the Huskies on Saturday is still unknown, but the Huskies' stellar play on Thursday will hopefully carry over to their matchup against Texas A&M.
The one you should attend:
Baseball: West Virginia vs. UConn, Fri., 3 p.m.; Sat., 1 p.m.; Sun., 11 a.m. at J.O Christian Field
The Huskies (7-7) have played most of their games in various locations in Florida and they've played a few games on the other side of Connecticut. But this weekend, the Huskies play their first home game of the season as they kick off Big East play against West Virginia.
To date, the Huskies have already scored 21 runs in a game against Bowling Green, but have also let up 21 runs in a loss to Ohio State.
