The Storrs side: What to watch for in UConn sports this weekend

Another weekend, another slew of great match-ups. While it's impossible to go see every game, here's some can't miss UConn games for you to follow.

The one you should attend:

Men's Soccer: DePaul vs. No. 15 UConn, Saturday 7 p.m. at Morrone Stadium

After two months of soccer, it has gotten to the point where each game really matters for the men's soccer team. The Huskies host DePaul in the second round of the Big East championship. If UConn wins, they'll head to Tampa Bay for the Big East semifinals next Friday.

Senior Dori Arad was crucial ??for the Huskies during last year's Big East Tournament. He scored three goals, including two in the championship game against Notre Dame.

The one you should attend:

Field Hockey: Louisville vs. No. UConn, Saturday 1:30 p.m. at Sherman-Sports Complex

The Big East Tournament comes to Storrs and the Huskies will take on the Cardinals in the second game of the day on Saturday. UConn's regular season game against Louisville was one of two losses the Huskies suffered this season.

The championship game will be played Sunday at 1 p.m.

The one you should attend:

Men's Basketball: UMass-Lowell vs. No. 2 UConn, Sunday 1 p.m. at Hartford XL Center

After a blow-out win against Division II American International College on Wednesday, the Huskies will face a more talented team in UMass-Lowell. Freshman Kemba Walker was impressive in his first collegiate start; freshman Scottie Haralson was not as much. Let's see how the two will perform in Sunday's game.
