Andrew Samson, 21, of Enfield, was arrested at 12:23 a.m. in Mansfield and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, failure to drive right, operating a motor vehicle while under the influence and possession of a controlled substance or less than four ounces of marijuana. Samson was the operator of a vehicle that was stopped by police for a motor vehicle violation. Samson was suspected of being under the influence of alcohol or drugs and he was subjected to a series of field sobriety tests, which he failed. Samson was subsequently arrested. Samson's vehicle was searched because of his arrest and during this search, police found a bag containing 3.8 grams of marijuana and a glass marijuana smoking pipe. His bail was set at $1,000 and his court date was set for Dec. 15.
Darline Auguste, 23, of Stamford, was arrested at 7:25 a.m. at UConn Police Headquarters and charged with computer crime, conspiracy to commit computer crime, larceny and conspiracy to commit larceny. Auguste surrendered herself at the UConn Police Headquarters, based on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was issued as a result of an investigation of a series of larcenies that were committed through the use of the UConn Department of Dining Services' computer system. Her bail was set at $1,500 and her court date was set for Dec. 9.

Benjamin Jacobwitz, 21, of Montville, was arrested at 8:13 p.m. at UConn Police Headquarters and charged with failure to appear. Jacobwitz was arrested by UConn police on an active arrest warrant issued by the Norwich Superior Court after he failed to appear in court on Oct. 29 as required. The warrant stemmed from an incident on Sept. 7, during which Jacobwitz was arrested for driving under suspension and other motor vehicle violations. His bail was set at $2,500 and his court date was set for Dec. 17.
Terry Tian, 21, of New Britain, was arrested at 10:52 p.m. at the Charter Oaks Apartment Complex and charged with breach of peace, criminal violation of a protective order, criminal trespass and stalking. Officers were dispatched to Thompson Hall in Charter Oak Apartments for a report of a male causing a disturbance after trying to gain entry into an ex-girlfriend's residence. After an investigation, it was determined that Tian had waited outside of her job earlier and then followed her to her residence in his vehicle, causing her to be scared. Tian gained entrance to Thompson Hall and caused alarm to other residents in his attempt to speak with her. Earlier in the week, Tian had been ordered by officers not to enter the building after he was arrested on Nov. 29 for causing a disturbance. Tian had also been ordered by the Superior Court, through a protective order, not to have contact with the female after the Nov. 29 incident. His bail was set at $50,000 and his court date was set for Dec. 3.

Hadiyah Vanover, 22, of Windsor, was arrested at 12:44 p.m. on Windsor Avenue in Windsor and charged with interfering with an officer and tampering with a witness. UConn police and the Connecticut State Police Major Crime Squad continue to investigate the murder of UConn student Jasper Howard. During the investigation, it was determined that Vanover, who is an acquaintance of the subjects who have been arrested for the stabbings, attempted to coerce a person or persons with knowledge of this incident into not cooperating with the investigation. Additionally, Vanover lied to police investigators. Her bail was set at $50,000 and her court date was set for Dec. 4.
Rahim Muhammad, 22, of Bloomfield, was arrested at 1:00 p.m. at 620 Pigeon Hill Road in Windsor and charged with hindering prosecution, conspiracy to hinder prosecution, interfering with an officer and tampering with or fabricating evidence. UConn police and the Connecticut State Police Major Crime Squad continue to investigate the murder of UConn student Jasper Howard. During the investigation, it was determined that Muhammad moved or concealed evidence from this incident. Additionally, Muhammad lied to police investigators. His bail was set at $200,000 and his court date was set for Dec. 4.

Jeannette Brito, 20, of Seymour, was arrested at 12:47 a.m. at Charter Oak Apartments and charged with breach of peace. Police responded to the parking area outside Hubbard Hall for a report of a male and female engaged in a domestic dispute. After a brief investigation, it was determined that Brito got into a loud argument with her boyfriend, which created a disturbance in the area. Her bail was set at $500 and her court date was set for Dec. 7.
Yirmeb Kuwere-Meda, 21, of Farmington, was arrested at 12:47 a.m. at Charter Oak Apartments and charged with assault and breach of peace. Police responded to the parking area outside Hubbard Hall for a report of a male and female engaged in a domestic dispute. After a brief investigation, it was determined that Kuwere-Meda grabbed his girlfriend, causing pain, while attempting to remove her from his vehicle. This altercation caused a disturbance in the area. His bail was set at $1,000 and his court date was set for Dec. 7.
Nicholas Gagliardi, 19, of Wallingford, was arrested at 1:35 a.m. on Tower Court and charged with breach of peace and criminal mischief. Police responded to a complaint of a male wearing an orange t-shirt breaking an exit sign on the four floor of Busby Suites. After a brief investigation, Gagliardi was apprehended outside the building, where he was identified by a witness as the individual who had broken the sign. His bail was set at $1,000 and his court date was set for Dec. 15.
Robert Keohane, 20, of Tyngsborough, Mass., was arrested at 2:01 a.m. on North Eagleville Road and charged with interfering with an officer and walking while under the influence. While on patrol, an officer observed Keohane in the middle of North Eagleville Road, forcing cars to stop. The officer stopped Keohane to speak with him. During a brief investigation, the officer learned that Keohane was intoxicated. During the conversation, Keohane ran away from the officer. A short foot pursuit ensued, during which Keohane was apprehended and arrested. His bail was set at $1,000 and his court date was set for Dec. 15.
