1/19 Zeeshan Khan, 22, of Vernon, was arrested at 3:03 a.m. on Charter Oak Service Road and charged with second degree breach of peace. According to police, officers responded to a complaint of a disturbance in the parking lot of Charter Oak Apartments. After a brief investigation, Kahn and another man were found to be involved in a verbal and physical altercation. Kahn was given a Jan. 27 court date and released on a promise to appear.

1/16 Mark Newman, 22, of Carmel, N.Y., was arrested at 12:46 a.m. on Hunting Lodge Road and charged with failure to drive right and operation while under the influence. According to police, an officer observed a vehicle operated by Newman cross over the solid double yellow lines on North Eagleville Road. Newman was stopped and subjected to a series of field sobriety tests, which he failed. He was given a Jan. 26 court date. Bond was set at $500.
1/14 Andrew Platt, 20, of Hamden, was arrested at 12:18 a.m. on South Eagleville Road and charged with failure to obey a stop sign, failure to drive right and operation while under the influence. According to police, Platt was stopped for a motor vehicle violation and suspected of being under the influence of alcohol. Officers subjected Platt to a series of field sobriety tests, which he failed. He was given a Jan. 26 court date. Bond was set at $500.
1/11 Dustin Good, 23, of Bernville, Pa., was arrested at 12:55 a.m. in staff parking lot nine and charged with unsafe movement and operation while under the influence. According to police, an officer observed a vehicle operated by Good driving erratically during a snow storm. The vehicle was skidding close to parked vehicles and pedestrians walking through the parking lot. Good was stopped and subject to a series of field sobriety tests, which he failed. He was given a Jan. 26 court date. Bond was set at $500.
1/04 Nathaniel Miles, 20, of Toledo, Ohio, was arrested at 6:20 p.m. at UConn police headquarters and charged with three counts of disorderly conduct. According to police, Miles turned himself into police headquarters on an outstanding warrant where it was alleged that he hit an acquaintance on Sept. 14, 2008. He was given a Jan. 5 court date and released on a promise to appear.
12/30 Billie-Jo Britton, 43, of Willimantic, was arrested at 12:12 a.m. on Hillside Road and charged with sixth degree larceny. According to police, Britton was arrested on an active warrant where it was alleged that she took another person's cell phone without their permission. Britton was given a Jan. 13 court date. Bond was set at $1,000.
12/23 Hyun Yu, 36, of Hebron, was arrested at 8:18 p.m. at UConn police headquarters and charged with second degree breach of peace. According to police, Yu turned himself in on a warrant where it was alleged that he made comments to another individual during a verbal confrontation at the UConn Field House that made the person alarmed for their safety. He was given a Jan. 6 court date. Bond was set at $500.
12/22 Miguel Ramirez, 21, of Waterford, was arrested at 10:30 a.m. at UConn police headquarters and charged with second degree failure to appear. According to police, Ramirez turned himself into police on a warrant for failure to appear. The warrant stemmed from an incident that occurred on Nov. 7, 2008, when Ramirez was given a summons for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and subsequently failed to appear in court. He was given a Jan. 6 court date and released after posting a $2,500 bond.
12/14 Robert Robinshaw, 71, of Coventry, was arrested at 2:41 p.m. on Hunting Lodge Road and charged with criminal violation of a protective order. According to police, Robinshaw was found to be collecting cans at Celeron Square Apartments. He was warned for trespass and allowed to leave the premises. Computer records later revealed that he was the subject of a court ordered protective order stemming from an incident in Coventry. When contacted at Celeron, Robinshaw was with the female subject of the protective order. Robinshaw was subsequently located on Hunting Lodge Road in his vehicle with the same woman. Once the protective order was confirmed, Robinshaw was arrested and given a Dec. 15 court date. He was held on a $5,000 bond.
12/13 Christopher Ochoa, 24, of Storrs, was arrested at 1:57 a.m. outside of Ted's Bar and charged with second degree unlawful restraint and second degree breach of peace. According to police, an officer observed Ochoa engage in a verbal argument with his girlfriend and then place his arms around her neck, putting her in a headlock and dragging her to the ground. He was given a Dec. 15 court date. Bond was set at $1,000.
12/12 Pardeep Singh, 24, of Westport, was arrested at 11:20 p.m. on North Eagleville Road and charged with failure to drive right and operation while under the influence. According to police, Singh was stopped on North Eagleville Road for failure to drive right and suspected of being under the influence of alcohol. He was subjected to a series of field sobriety tests, which he failed. Singh was given a Dec. 22 court date. Bond was set at $500.
12/11 Timothy Bennatan, 18, of Lake Forest, Ill., was arrested at 11:20 a.m. at the UConn Co-op and charged with sixth degree larceny. According to police, officers received a call from the Co-op that a shoplifter was being detained by store security. After a brief investigation, Bennatan was arrested and given a Dec. 23 court date. Bond was set at $500.
12/10 Ryan O'Sullivan 20, of Madison, was arrested 4:35 p.m. at UConn police headquarters and charged with second degree assault and disorderly conduct. According to police, O'Sullivan turned himself into police after learning of a warrant for his arrest. The warrant stemmed from an incident on Nov. 8, 2008, when O'Sullivan allegedly physically assaulted an individual in a UConn campus apartment, causing extensive injuries.
12/9 Leo Alexander, 23, of Hope, R.I., was arrested at 6:56 a.m. at the UConn police department and charged with second degree breach of peace and first degree threatening. According to police, Alexander turned himself into police after learning of a warrant for his arrest. The warrant stemmed from an incident on July 11, 2008, when Alexander allegedly telephoned the UConn parking services office regarding a parking ticket he had received. During the telephone conversation, Alexander allegedly threatened the employee and also threatened to "blow the place up." He was given a Dec. 9 court date and held on a $5,000 bond.
12/8 Artur Shakhnazarov, 22, of West Hartford, was arrested at 5:45 p.m. on King Hill Road and charged with violation of a criminal restraining order, failure to grant right of way to a pedestrian in a crosswalk, and operation with a suspended driver's license. According to police, an officer stopped Shakhnazarov for a motor vehicle violation and discovered that his license was suspended and that there was a restraining order against him. A check of the restraining order revealed that the protected person was in the vehicle with Shakhnazarov. He was given a Dec. 9 court date and held on a $5,000 bond.
