"Big East rules stipulate that a player cannot leave a conference school and transfer to another member school."

There is no such rule. A transfer must sit out 2 years if a transfer is made within conference, but it is allowed.



[Editor's note: This correct, when referring to football and men's/women's basketball.
The Big East makes a special exception for those sports.

Good riddance. One less thug; maybe Calhoun will finally start filling the roster with some smart white players.
