Eugenics, Racism and Planned Parenthood Go Together

Abstract:
Students from UCLA have been involved with a quarterly pro-life magazine, The Advocate, in an ongoing effort to expose inherent racism in Planned Parenthood have placed several calls to centers around the country. According to the transcripts released by The Advocate, back in July someone claiming to be a donor contacted Planned Parenthood in Idaho and inquired if their donation could be put specifically towards helping minority women, specifically blacks, to obtain abortions....

It's Rob again.

When I see a young man so contentiously obsessed with women's reproduction, I can't help thinking mommy didn't love him "enough". We're all sorry you didn't get that pony when you were 11, but it's time to move on now.

women's reproduction?

obsessed with women's reproduction, or obsessed with saving innocent lives? i'd argue the latter. as a non religious, libertarian female (i feel those two traits important as to shoot down any christian conservative arguments i'm sure are coming), i agree with all rob says, and the fact that he's a man is entirely irrelevant.

What is entirely relevant is Casapulla's undeveloped knowledge of statistical inference. He pulled up ONE example of blatant racism within Planned Parenthood, that would be ONE in 120 independent clinics across the country, and generalized that behavior to the entire organization. Using such logic, one could thereby infer the NFL to be a racist organization due to the whimsicalities of their former comedic sportscaster, Rush Limbaugh.

My objection to this article has less to do with his position on abortion, and more to do with his affinity for poorly researched positions.

From article:
"Eugenics, Racism and Planned Parenthood Go Together."

Remember, when the politically correct use the term racism, they simply mean white Gentiles who discriminate.

It is a racial slur directed only seriously at white Gentiles. Racist = honky, or honky-ish.

So, the translation of your quote would be: "Eugenics, Honky-ish and Planned Parenthood Go Together."

Ask yourself, have you ever seen a movie or TV program that attaches the word racist to a Jewish individual or to a Jewish group? How about a Chicano or black individual or group?

Name just one.

Yet, over the last 50 years you have probably seen thousands of movies and TV about white "racists".

Is there a point to your commentary? I'm not sure what you're saying.

In the end, abortion is a choice. Planned parenthood isn't going out and making people have abortions, or even pushing them. It's a quick and easy thing to do to say "Hey, they're evil, racist bastards!", instead of seeing WHY the statistics fall the way they do. Poor sex education in inner cities? Poverty? It's easy for society to blame one group for something when it really should go take a nice long look in the mirror.

As long as were going back to year 1917 how did the October Revolution and the Bolsheviks deal with women's rights, abortion, and the right's of oppressed nationalities? Women immediately had the right to vote and full particiation in economic and political life, and the right to a medical abortion. The Empire extended to women right to vote in 1920. Russia, the prison house of nations, now under control of the Bolsheviks granted freedom to all former opressed nations and the right to become part of the free association in the Soviet Union or set up their own government. Finland left becoming an opponent of Bolshevism, Mongolia became a Soviet Republic outside of the Soviet Union and a truce was signed with Poland allowing the Poles to run their own affairs. Five nations decided to become part of the Soviet Union. Joseph Stalin would later head a counter revolutionary bureauacracy and reverse many of the revolutions gains including the right to an abortion, and a reinstution of Great Russian Chauvinism. The fact that Stalin's heirs in the former Soviet Union no longer pretend to be Bolshevics is a historic gain.

Eugenics and racism is nothing new for Planned Parenthood.

Dr. Martin Luther King and Eb DuBois both supported planned parenthood. They provide health services to people who can't go to the private clinic for what they need. What is more racist - a society in which poor African Americans have no access to clinical services or a society in which Planned Parenthood gives access to those who would not otherwise be able to afford it? You don't give a crap about equality, you just use the word "racism" to try to trick people into believing this nonsense.
