UConn has become a better Educational Institution, but it has gotten worse for students. I had the pleasure of suffering through the Uconn 200 project and never seeing the end results. UConn does suck, and the Daily Campus sucks as well. UMass student press is one of the best in the country. How many articles/cartoons are you going to recycle this year?

As a proud a alum, I am disheartened to hear people say "uconn sucks". Mr. Heiber is right, Uconn, or any other university is what you make of it. As a transfer to Uconn, I was so pleased with my experience. Even today, I enjoy supporting my university through sporting events and alumni clubs. If all you get involved at Uconn is power hour on your couch with friends from high school, then yes, your experience will suck. Get involved, make new friends, find the library, all of this will help make college some of the best years of your life.
As for the constant construction, as someone who works at a university, construction is seen as a positive, it means your U has money to do things.

As someone who recently entered UConn, I've had nothing but bad experiences from all walks of campus life. Many of the other students I talk to, echo the same complaints that I have, mostly about the incompetence and general "screw off" responses gotten from academic advisors, as well as complaints about the miserable conditions of most of the residence halls.

UConn sucks. Never had a good teacher, because there aren't any. Food is attrocious. Apartments are shitty. Class you need, can't get into. Fuck UConn.

Why do people always say that? "Oh, no, man, YOU must be the loser because you spent thirty seconds hating on the most diverse, interesting, and fun schools in the country" [expletive removed by administrator] Uconn really does suck. I know this because I am a student there. As the summer continues I am not dreading my return at all, because I did in fact make the most of it and actually enjoyed my time there quite a bit, befriending a large amoutn of individuals who don't adhere to the waspy lifestyle of the gym and call of duty and keystone. Yet, upon looking back at how unbelievably boring and vanilla the general population is, it saddens me that these people are actually satisfied with the lives they lead. And yes, I spent about two minutes typing this, I must be a [expletive removed by administrator] loser with too much time on his hands. SAY IT
