Symphony Orchestra shows heroes are still among us

Abstract:
The strings, woodwinds, brass and percussion of the UConn Symphony Orchestra all played in celebration of our nation last Friday night at the von der Mehden Recital Hall.

Under the theme of heroes and heroism, the Symphony Orchestra delivered three epic pieces that symbolized the proudest moments in human achievement....

Of course it is not like your average high school concert band. IT IS AN ORCHESTRA. Seriously, was the author of this article even at the concert, or did he have someone else take notes for him?

Also, the author refrences the orchestra as a band later in the article. THIS SHOULD NEVER HAPPEN.

"Increased air of professionalism"? Maybe it was the fact that it was a Universtity Symphony Orchestra that brought this air.


Maybe you would be surprised to know that they have giraffes at the zoo? Would this bring about an "increased air of professionalism" that is not seen at your average pet store?
