Let's consider today's gamne against Penn State as Tina Charles's coming out party. With the rest of the starters stuck in neutral, Tina took the game on her shoulders and did what she's capable of doing: dominating. The story book opening for the Huskies first six games continues with pick your poison for opponents...thus far, Moore, Montgomery, Charles, Doty, and Greene have all kept the Huskies moving and lethal on both offense and defense. Today, with a creaky start and stone cold shooting from the rest, Charles refused to let the game go up for grabs. She assumed leadership and gave the team the stability they needed to get back on track. Let's hope the Cancun trip continues the Husskies big swath through their schedule...go Huskies, and thanks for today, Tina!
