The Centers for Disease Control study mentioned in the article has been publicized by Harvard Medical School at
http://www.patienteducationcenter.org/aspx/HealthELibrary/HealthETopic.aspx?cid=M0907d

The article made an error when it said "two-thirds of the victims are women" according to the study. Two thirds of *injured* victims are women according to the study, but that's different. The study shows women initiate domestic violence more often than men. Over 200 studies confirm this. http://www.csulb.edu/~mfiebert/assault.htm

The University of New Hampshire's recent 32-nation study confirmed it too and found women are as controlling as men in relationships.
