How much can one team take?

Abstract:
If there is a limit to how much heartache a group of people can take, the UConn football team is testing it. The last two weeks following the death of Jasper Howard have certainly been among the hardest the Huskies community has faced. One thing that could help would be to get a win; to have lost both games since his passing has been especially difficult....

The Saturday experience at the game was the most "crushing" in my decades as a Husky and Sox fan, emotionally and physically. And Jazz's shirt looked so small, frail, as the "6"signs fluttered in the wind like fallen leaves, and the sky darkened.

I want to give Coach and team a hug, and won't mind getting one myself.
