Abstract:
You beat a conference rival 41-10 with your backup quarterback to remain an undefeated 7-0 and you fall from No. 5 to No. 8 in the BCS Standings? Well, that's the amazingly true and ridiculous story of the Cincinnati Bearcats, who beat Louisville last weekend to stay perfect on the year....

I'm and avid LSU fan. Season tickets, the rest. So naturally, my view of the BCS would be expected to be different than yours. But so many teams listed in the rankings because of their popularity and "media darling" status leaves very bitter thoughts for those kinds of preconcieved ideas.
I am reading that if LSU can win out...which means beating the present #1 and #2 (Florida and Alabama) in the upcoming game and the SEC championship, then they'll likely jump over teams like Cincinnati, TCU, BYU, and maybe even Iowa in the BCS to play Texas in the NCS.
You know what? I don't think I like this. I firmly believe that LSU's talent pool is way above that of any of those teams. But I don't believe that gives any team with one loss an open door policy to step over an undefeated team.
The BCS has to GO. Only our constant lobbying will force that. Keep the pressure up
