Student Health Services is completely unreliable and honestly needs to become more proactive and helpful. You can be sure at least 4-5 times as many people were sick with the virus than the reported 114 (most people don't go to the infirmary when they have a stomach virus). They could have been taking steps to determine the type of GI virus spreading, that way they could advise janitorial crews on campus as to what type of disinfectants to use (different GI viruses require different disinfectants). This way the could have prevented the virus from being so WIDELY spread. But of course, no statements or announcements were released from Student Health Services about the virus, no steps were taken to prevent the spread of the virus, and from what I can see in the article, inadequate care was given to those who seeked it. SAME OLD STORY WITH THEM.
