ResLife break closing policy is overdue

Abstract:
With Thanksgiving break quickly approaching, most students are packing their bags and planning whether Mom or Dad is coming for pick-up. But for some students, travel plans may be much more difficult, not to mention expensive. Before this semester, students didn't have a choice to remain on campus, causing travel issues for a number of students....

I am sorta angry about this. When i was a student..we tried so hard to get the chance to stay in the dorms during breaks...but were told...no CAs or Hall Directors will be there...so who will watch over you kids.

Now..it seems they have gone against years of saying that...and allowing kids to stay there during breaks...

I predict there is a 65% chance this policy will not be kept since i know for a fact..students are going to stay in the dorms to party. I mean come on...who you kidding by saying..students will spend the time studying..or working at a student job around campus... Sure... People will stay in their rooms to party..invite their friends from home (who would be home for break) to spend a few nights at uconn where there will be no CAs...no hall directors on duty...wow this sounds like a pretty good deal for students...

Are you an idiot? Of course there will be CAs and Hall Directors here and on duty. They're not going to leave buildings open and let students come and go without staff in the buildings.

Actually, there are CAs on duty everywhere on campus during Thanksgiving and Spring breaks. Reslife isn't dumb.
