Police charged Cassandra Wright, 19, of Coventry, with failure to have break lights, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance or less than 4 ounces of marijuana. Officers stopped Wright on North Eagleville Road for failing to have the proper number of brake lights. After a brief investigation, Wright was found to be in possession of 3.3 grams of marijuana and two glass smoking pipes. Her bond was set at $500.
Police charged Jeffrey Onderdonk, 20, of Colchester, with driving the wrong way and operation of a motor vehicle while under the influence. Onderdonk was the operator of a vehicle that drove on the wrong side of an island located at the intersection of Route 195 and North Eagleville Road. Onderdonk was stopped on North Eagleville Road and was suspected of operating under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Onderdonk was subjected to a series of field sobriety tests, which he failed.

Police charged Jordan Poudrier, 18, of Manchester, with larceny in the sixth degree. Loss-prevention personnel working at the UConn Co-op bookstore observed Poudrier take a book and lanyard from the Co-op without paying. A brief investigation revealed that Poudrier had taken items totaling $63.95 for which he did not pay. His bond was set at $500.
Police charged Kevin Thompson, 23, of Stamford, with failure to appear. Thompson turned himself in at police headquarters after learning that an arrest warrant had been issued for his failure to appear in court on July 28. Thompson was originally arrested by UConn police on March 27, 2005, and charged with breach of peace in the second degree and assault in the third degree after he allegedly struck a female. His bond was set at $10,000.
Police charged Sara Baldwin, 23, of Colorado Springs, Co., with two counts of failure to have a tax permit. According to police, officers responded to a complaint of a female selling magazines at Hilltop Apartments. During a brief investigation, Baldwin was found to have made two sales on campus, but failed to have a Connecticut state tax permit for these sales, which is a violation of Connecticut state tax laws. Baldwin was arrested and transported to headquarters where she was held on a $5,000 bond.
Police charged Nicole Rogers, 22, of Orem, Utah., with three counts of failure to have a tax permit. Officers responded to a complaint of a female selling magazines at Hilltop Apartments. Officers located and identified Rogers in Wheeler Hall. During a brief investigation, Rogers was found to have made three sales on campus, but failed to have a Connecticut state tax permit for these sales, which is a violation of Connecticut state tax laws. She was held on a $5,000 bond.

Police charged Conor Walsh, 19, of Milford, with larceny in the sixth degree. Walsh was observed by UConn Co-op loss prevention agents taking merchandise without paying for it after concealing the items. Walsh was stopped by loss prevention after leaving the store and detained for police. Upon investigation, Walsh was found to have stolen $91.35 worth of computer components and tools. His bond was set at $500.

Police charged Christopher Soltis, 20, of Trumbull, with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance or less than 4 ounces of marijuana. Soltis was seen in staff parking lot 9 of the UConn campus behaving in a suspicious manner. After a brief investigation, Soltis was found to be in possession of 3 grams of marijuana and a glass marijuana smoking device. His bond was set at $2,000.
Police charged John Vignali, 21, of Trumbull, with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance or less than 4 ounces of marijuana. Vignali was seen in the staff parking lot 9 of the UConn campus behaving in a suspicious manner. After a brief investigation, Vignali was found to be in possession of 0.8 grams of marijuana and a glass marijuana smoking pipe. His bond was set at $2,000.
Police charged Spencer Porter, 18, of Old Lyme, with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance or less than 4 ounces of marijuana. Officers approached Porter on Celeron Path when it appeared he was smoking marijuana. An investigation revealed that Porter was in possession of 0.9 grams of marijuana and a glass smoking pipe. His bond was set at $1,000.
Police charged Kevin Hovey, 21, of Weatogue, with criminal mischief in the third degree. Officers observed Hovey standing in the area of the UConn Police Department speed enforcement trailer, which contains equipment to advise motorists of their speed and if they are in violation of the posted speed limit. Police observed and heard Hovey strike the sign several times in the LED screen with a knife, potentially causing damage to the equipment. His bond was set at $500.

Police charged Justin Estes, 18, of Richmond, Va., with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance or less than 4 ounces of marijuana. Officers approached Estes on Celeron Path when it appeared he was smoking marijuana. An investigation revealed that Estes was in possession of 3.2 grams of marijuana and a glass smoking pipe. His bond was set at $1,000.

Police charged Keith Cameron, 19, of Reading, Mass., with illegal possession of narcotics with intent to sell near a school, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a hallucinogen or more than 4 ounces of marijuana. Officers received information that Cameron had a large quantity of marijuana in his room and was possibly selling it. After a brief investigation, Cameron was found to be in possession of 128.3 grams of marijuana, which was packaged for sale, a marijuana vaporizer and a large quantity of money. Cameron's room is located within 1,500 feet of E.O. Smith High School. His bond was set at $25,000.
