Sooners highlight break schedule Thanksgiving break

The women's basketball team will play three games during Thanksgiving break. Starting off, UConn will face Rhode Island in a Saturday matinee at the XL Center. The game starts at 1 p.m. and will be aired on CPTV. The Huskies are 9-13 all-time against the Rams, last facing them in the 2001-02 season. UConn won 84-38.

On Tuesday, Nov. 25, the Huskies travel to BYU at 9 p.m. to face the Cougars. The trip marks the first time that UConn will visit Utah and the second-ever matchup between the two teams. Last year, UConn faced BYU at the XL Center in what ultimately was a rout, winning 80-34.

As most students head back to campus on Sunday, Nov. 30, the Huskies will square off against NCAA tournament opponent No. 2 Oklahoma and All-America center Courtney Paris at Gampel Pavilion. UConn boasts a perfect 6-0 record against the Sooners.
