Same old same old. UConn coach Radny Edsall has settled on sticking it out with kicker Matt Nuzie after another dreadful performance by his tandem of place kickers Saturday against Lehigh. "Matt Nuzie will be the kicker," Edsall said. Graig Vicidomino got the starting nod Saturday but was replaced midway through the game after badly missing on two attempts from 39 and 41 yards out.
Jennifer Johnson has not been herself lately. Instead, of sprinting up and down the field grasping her lacrosse stick, she finds herself hobbling onto the field on crutches. Johnson or J.J. as most people call her, is a world-class lacrosse athlete. She is also one of UConn's assistant lacrosse coaches.
