Spring Break
People listen to music for a variety of reasons. While one person might listen to a song to forget what they are dealing with in life, another person may look for guidance from their favorite musician's words. For every one person listening to music for the harmony of sounds in a song there is another person listening to the same song for the message of the lyrics.
The list of people that I despise that follows was not done in anger or meant to malign any of the people or objects on it. Well...not all of them. Some of them were asking for it. Badly. While engaging in my everyday reading of The Daily Campus, I came across a startling editorial by weekly columnist Jessica Coury entitled, "Don't like UConn? Then get the hell out!" The article was about how she feels people who complain about certain things at UConn should leave, because the majority of students do not want these whiners here anyway.
