The following is an interview with Christopher Hitchens following his appearance at a symposium on the war in Iraq at New School University in New York City, concerning his support of the war and the rift it has caused between himself and the left. Hitchens is the author of several books, including "The Trial of Henry Kissinger," "Letters To a Young Contrarian" and "Why Orwell Matters.

Friday evening the New School University in Manhattan hosted a symposium to discuss the ongoing war in Iraq, its implications and possible courses toward its resolution. Featured as debaters were Vanity Fair and Slate columnist Christopher Hitchens, and New Yorker staff writer Mark Danner, who reprised their two earlier debates at the University of California, Berkley.

Super Bowl XXXVIII marked a disturbing trend to me: Apathy. Our very own Patriots won for the second time in three years. In 2002, Tom Brady was the youngest quarterback ever to win a Super Bowl, making him by far the youngest to win two. Adam Vinatieri scored his fourth ever game winning field goal in the post-season.
