The UConn Conn-Men are not what their name implies. They are an all-male a cappella group that began in fall 2001 with two UConn students, neither of whom were looking to "con" anyone. According to their web site, the two young men "set out to form a group that would go beyond any standards currently set in the university community.

wo and a half miles outside of the Storrs campus there is a remote campus where parking is not an issue, where creativity seems to seep out of the walls and a $1.5 million building renovation is overlooked. Welcome to puppetry arts. The puppetry arts program, which has seen vast improvement from its former location in the basement of Sprague Hall, is now nicely situated on the Depot Campus off of Route 44.

Nafe Katter Theatre gives CRT a jolt

It has taken a long time for Nafe Katter to see his name on the side of a building at UConn - an honorhe certainly deserves because of his commitment and dedication to the theater department, both as a UConn professor and after his retirement. Katter spent 40 years as a professor at UConn and retired in 1996, but is still a professional actor.

Many people just toss unwanted items into the garbage without a second thought. Yet, there's sometimes something in the closet that is too nice to throw out, but not nice enough to sell. When confronted with this situation, many people end up putting the item back into its rightful, dust-collecting space.

Thefacebook is one of the latest topics of conversation among college students across the country and it has recently come to UConn. What exactly is Thefacebook? Well, it can be described as a way for college students to find out who is in their classes, search for people at their school, and see friends of friends.

Isaac Mizrahi is one of the fashion world's most notable names, even to those who aren't fashion insiders. This can mostly be accredited to his recent collaboration with Target. The trendy designer and the discount super store teamed up to create a line of clothes, accessories and shoes that would have the fashionable appeal of Mizrahi's more expensive pieces, but also the financial appeal of Target's affordable prices.
