Jim  Breuer gets laughs at Jorgensen

St. Patty's Day came to UConn, and with it came stand-up comedian Jim Breuer. Breuer kept the crowd entertained with old material, such as the infamous "Goat Boy," and improvised commentary. He recalled his times in college and the revelations he had experienced at that age.

The Puerto Rican/Latin American Cultural Center (PR/LACC) will host several events on campus during the next few weeks. The first is the Multicultural Gala on March 18. For $5, students can enjoy an evening of dinner and dancing at Rome Ballroom in South Campus.

Sometimes cleaning out your closet just isn't enough. Last night, Dawna Martin, an expert in transformational healing, taught the ways to control and manipulate your surroundings in order to create a sacred space for yourself, during "Space Clearing" a hands-on lecture in the "Discovering the Intuitive You" series.

'Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of NIMH' By Robert C. O'Brien Recap: The Frisby mouse family comes upon hard times when their cinder block house is going to be plowed over while the youngest of the family is too sick to leave the nest. Mrs. Frisby is advised by an owl to seek the help of a group of rats who turn out to be escaped lab rats from NIMH.
