Spring is the start of concert season and after the long and dreary New England winter it is important to go out and put an end to the cabin fever. Lots of bands start their tours in the spring time, outside venues open up and people are anxious to hear their favorite bands play.
"Look! Literature!," the fourth annual Writing Center art show, is on display in the Wilbur Cross building from now until April 15. There was an opening reception Sunday afternoon for the show at the Wilbur Cross gallery, attended mainly by members of the English department, and interested spectators passing through the building.
Long Wharf Theatre in New Haven is running at its maximum with performances on both its C. Newton Schenck Mainstage and Stage II. "A Moon for the Misbegotten," by Eugene O'Niell, opened March 2 and will run until March 27 on the Mainstage. "The Romance of Magno Rubio," by Lonnie Carter, makes its New England premier on Long Wharf's Stage II from March 16 through April 3.
