The Bush administration recently requested a list of all search queries typed in from the nation's top search database companies during an unspecified week. In addition, the government wants one million random web addresses from such databases. Google's recent refusal to give up such data must be commended.

Time To Get Healthy, UConn

If you're like me, halfheartedly trying to achieve a New Year's resolution to eat healthfully, you were intrigued by the study recently published in The Journal of American Medicine. The study was part of the Women's Health Initiative and monitored almost 49,000 postmenopausal women over eight years.

I hunted around the National Libertarian Party's web site and found some interesting facts that support my growing notion that Libertarianism is basically a copout for people who don't want to identify with a real political ideology. The Libertarian platform is self-defeating and its one claim to fame is its attempts to legalize drugs.

The Republic of Kiribati (pronounced "kee-ree-bus"), formerly known as the Gilbert Islands, is located in the central tropical Pacific Ocean. It consists of 32 atolls and one main island, 21 of which are inhabited, and has a total population of 103,092. Only after its mineral resources were exhausted did it gain its independence from the United Kingdom in 1979.

Way to go UConn. There's no water in Brock and I just had to rinse my hair with Fruit2O. I cut myself on a bagel yesterday. It was toasted. I don't care if its Valentine's Day, making out on the bus is just gross. If you still haven't cleared the snow off of your car, you don't use it enough to deserve a good parking spot.
