After the Huskies' 48-17 loss at Louisville to close the season Saturday afternoon, head coach Randy Edsall wasted no time in wrapping up the year and looking ahead to the future. "The 2007 season started today," Edsall proclaimed in a conference call Sunday. (0) comments
WORCESTER, Mass. - For 12 minutes, Holy Cross looked like the team ranked in the top 10. The Crusaders drained open look after open look and ran their offense perfectly en route to, at one point, a well-deserved eight-point lead over mighty UConn. It couldn't last forever, though. (0) comments

Three days after achieving arguably their biggest win of the year over No. 9 Boston College, the Huskies will face another formidable foe in the one-loss Harvard Crimson. (0) comments
WORCESTER, Mass. - Geno Auriemma and Holy Cross head coach Bill Gibbons have been longtime friends, so it may not have been too big of a deal that the Crusaders led Auriemma's team for most of the first half. One of the reasons they did so was through the play of Briana McFadden, a freshman from Good Counsel High School in Washington, D. (0) comments
