Tequila Cove patrons got a taste of some Big Meat Friday night. Big Meat, the jam band from northeast Connecticut, rocked on for more than two hours to a small crowd. Friday was quite the frigid night and few people made the journey to the Cove, but those people who did show up at the bar received quite the show. (0) comments

It's old news when a jazz legend ventures onto the stage and leads his backing band through a remarkable set. On the other hand, it is a privilege when two jazz greats share the stage alone with just the precision of their instruments to fill the room with wonderful sound. (0) comments

Of Montreal is a band created in 1997 by flashy and expressive front man Kevin Barnes, who hails from Athens, Ga. Their latest LP, "Hissing Fauna, Are You The Destroyer?" is an artistic collective of indie, disco, British, psychedelic, glam pop tunes exposing Barnes' insecurities and latest bouts of depression. The William Benton Museum of Art has an entirely new look from last semester. Examples of the art featured this spring include historical pieces as well as contemporary, while also highlighting the dynamics between the two periods. Upon entering the upstairs galleries, the first exhibition is "Landscape: Fact and Fiction," which features photography representing interesting perspectives of a variety of landscapes. (0) comments
