Winners of their last three, the Huskies are playing some lights-out baseball. Unfortunately for UConn, one of Rutgers' favorite things to do is light up the score board. With four starters having driven in over 20 runs on the year and Todd Frazier having knocked out a 10 long balls so far, keeping Rutgers' offense from providing the man who operates the scoreboard with a lot of work will be a daunting task for the Huskies. If you know nothing about golf, chances are you'll say either Tiger Woods or Phil Mickelson. The men's tennis team travels to Woodbridge today to take on Fairfield indoors at Tennis Central starting at 8 p.m. After being originally scheduled at Fairfield for a 3 p.m. start, the match was moved because of inclement weather conditions throughout the area. (0) comments
No, It Is Not Since 1973, baseball fans have debated whether or not the designated hitter belongs in major league baseball. While it may have been necessary to implement in 1973, the DH deserves no place in today's Major League Baseball. The DH takes away from the purity and strategy of baseball, which are two of the most important aspects of baseball. (0) comments
