Everyone knows college is not a stress-free experience. Whether it is running from class to class trying to make enough time for yourself to grab a bite to eat from the Student Union, or trying to overcome your writer's block in order to type up a paper that is due right before your back-to-back women's studies and biology exams (in the same lecture hall), stress is unavoidable. Coming Out Day Raises Awareness

With 20,000 people on campus, it's not unheard of to see one or two people wearing the same shirt on a given day. But it's not often that there are hundreds of people wearing the same shirt in different colors. "Homophobia is a Socially-Transmitted Disease," read brightly colored shirts around UConn Thursday. Underground bands usually give away their music for free in the hopes of being recognized, but when a famous band like Radiohead does it, it causes mass amounts of debate over the future of the music industry and many questions arise. Is the CD dead? Is digital distribution legitimate? Is cutting out the label a viable option for bands? What will legally giving music away for free affect the music industry business model? At about 1 p.m. somewhere in Japan, Nintendo made a flurry of announcements - both positive and potentially negative - regarding the Nintendo DS handheld and Nintendo Wii console. After touting the success of both of these platforms, Satoru Iwata, the president of Nintendo, announced a few of the upcoming titles for Wii Ware, a Wii channel that will offer original downloadable games alongside the retro-serving Virtual Console.
