The Agents of Improv dazzled their audience at a free performance last night at the Student Union. "You keep all these keys on a lanyard … do you wear it around your neck … are you a freshman," a member of the Agents of Improv, the UConn comedy group, joked last night as they interviewed a member of the audience. When Ballet Is More Than Just Dancing

Although Jorgensen Center for the Performins Arts usually has popular, big-name performers. like Regina Spektor or Gym Class Heroes that are more relatable to a younger, college aged audience, it is refreshing to see a different type of performance just through the raw intensity of dance and music be leaped upon the stage. This past Saturday night, Atlanta rapper Clifford Harris, better known as T.I., was arrested on multiple weapon charges, after federal investigators said he had a bodyguard purchase machine guns and silencers. There's something unnerving about books with punctuated titles. Nevertheless, "Steve Almond's (Not that You Asked) Rants, Exploits and Obsessions" draws attention. The cover has a horrifying photograph of a big-eyed plastic doll with boxing gloves. The book jacket refers to oral sex, Kurt Vonnegut and chest waxing. (0) comments

With summer coming to a close and the weather getting colder, no one wants to think about snow coming our way or even dare to imagine the frigid walks to class we will have to take. However, along with the unbearable conditions that winter brings, it also brings the holidays and it looks like Christmas has come early for all the Josh Groban fans in the world. (2) comments
