Parsons Dancers Dazzle Audience

Most people are unaware that man in fact can walk on air, that five individual sets of hands can come together to form a wave, play a violin, and row a boat, and that it is possible to use the body to spell out love for someone rather than saying it. Thanks to the inventive choreography of David Parsons and the skill of his dancers, the audience was invited into a world where the impossible became possible, a world where the body is the means of connecting with music, light and color to create an experience of utter joy. Professors Perform Charlie Parker

For many students, the name Charlie Parker may not even ring a bell. But Tuesday night, the jazz musician's most famous works were brought to life by two members of the UConn faculty. Voices Of Homelessness Speak

An eye-opening panel organized by ConnPIRG spoke last night in Konover Auditorium about their experiences with homelessness. The three panelists, David, Kate and Jeff, presented honest and real stories that touched the hearts and minds of many in the audiences. (0) comments

New-age is the first description that comes to mind when listening to the Charmparticles' debut album, "Alive in the Hot Spell," although shoegazing, dream pop, and/or space rock are more accurate genres to stick this band's music in.
