UConn hosted a climate change conference yesterday at the Bishop Center to examine how the university and the Town of Mansfield are preparing to combat climate change. It is good to see the university taking a proactive step and encouraging conversation about a challenging issue that affects everyone. (0) comments

Kanye West doesn't care about music. Maybe that's too harsh. Perhaps what should be said is that Kanye West doesn't care about anything but himself, his paycheck and his awards. Be it his political opinions, his crowd-pleasing songs, or his ugly white-striped glasses, Kanye West has been the man of the hour for several years now, ever since his work on Jay-Z's "The Blueprint" - proving West's abilities as a producer - placed him on the map. You know you are an engineering major when you get mad because Rubik's Cube was spelled wrong in the InstantDaily. It smells like puke and booze in my hallway on a Wednesday night.
