In order to encourage students to be tested and practice sexual health, Student Health Services is sponsoring a free STD Testing on Nov. 6, at 10:30 a.m. in the Student Union Ball Room. The testing, which will be performed by the Connecticut Department of Health, will be done for gonorrhea, chlamydia and syphilis. (1) comment

On a large, diverse campus, oppression may seem like a thing of the past, although as "The Tunnel" will attempt to show, it is not. The Tunnel of Oppression will allow those who do not necessarily experience oppression or may not realize that oppressions still occur, to get a small glimpse of how oppression affects others, said Missy Korduner, the program director. This weekend the Air Force Cadet Wing 115 was mingling with their comrades and superiors in what the night's agenda called "Social Hour."
