The red-hot UConn baseball team will be put to the test this weekend when it returns to Big East action to face Louisville at 3 p.m. at Jim Patterson Stadium in Louisville. The Huskies (7-8, 2-1 Big East) continued their recent hot streak with a 7-2 victory at Sacred Heart on Tuesday, UConn's sixth win in its last seven games. (0) comments
The men's tennis team is looking forward to its first home game today when it'll take on in-state rival, Quinnipiac. The Huskies will look to continue the winning streak they started this past Spring Break. Things began to heat up for the Huskies when they flew south to Orlando - but this was one tropical getaway that wasn't all fun in the sun. (0) comments
After venturing to Florida for its previous eight games the softball team only has to travels across the state tomorrow to Hamden to take on Quinnipiac at 3:30. The team came away with a 4-4 record during the road trip, and now claims a 7-10 record overall on the young season. (0) comments

There are few exciting things going on in the NBA besides the Houston Rockets and their dominating play this past month. However, as I write this, the Rockets just had their 22-game win streak snapped by the Boston Celtics. On paper, this seemed to be a great match-up and arguably Houston's most difficult home game this season. (1) comment
