Journey To India Takes Students Further Than Pop Culture

While the majority of UConn students returned to their hometowns to reunite with high school friends and family for the holiday season last winter break, a small group of students traveled halfway across the world to study in India. When it comes to enjoying the summer, some head to the beach, others head to Europe, but this year's summer concert line up is giving everyone a reason to stop and consider the charm of the tropical tri-state area. While Dippin' Dots have the benefit of uniqueness, they weren't enough to carry UConn Material Advantage's "Dots 'N' Dots" fundraiser last Friday. Students were invited to participate in a Dots and Boxes game tournament in the Student Union, and Dippin' Dots ice cream was sold alongside. (0) comments
