Eco-Madness Won By Hilltop Building

OEP Happy With Month-Long Apt. Competition

The Crandall building in Hilltop Apartments has won Eco-Madness, a water and energy-reduction contest sponsored by Eco-Husky and the Office of Environmental Policy (OEP). Crandall reduced its energy use by 23 percent and water use by 20 percent over the month-long competition, which ended April 18, according to Jessica LaRocca, an intern at the OEP and the event's organizer. 4/26 6:10 p.m. - Police charged Sperry Morway, 18, of Glastonbury with interfering with an officer and possession of a controlled substance or less than 4 oz. of marijuana. Officers were on patrol in the North Garage when they observed two males smoking cigarettes. (0) comments
