In an effort to increase student safety on weekends, UConn will offer shuttle service to and from late-night hotspots around campus this year. Beginning at 10 p.m. this Friday, two university buses will make periodic stops both around campus and at popular party locations such as Carriage House and Celeron Square Apartments until 2 a. UConn students vocalized their concerns with trayless dining and underage drinking at the Straight from the Source meeting last night, a monthly meeting that seeks to give students an opportunity to openly speak with administrators. 8/25 Police charged Cassandra Wright, 19, of Coventry, with failure to have break lights, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance or less than 4 ounces of marijuana. Officers stopped Wright on North Eagleville Road for failing to have the proper number of brake lights. (0) comments
