As America acknowledges Suicide Prevention Week this week, 25 departments at UConn have also organized a series of events to raise awareness about the issue. "We lose 1,000 to 1,200 students a year [to suicide]. That's two to three students a day," said Barry Schreier, director of Counseling and Mental Health Services and one of the organizers of this year's Suicide Prevention Week. (0) comments
Alumni Brien T. Buckman Alumni students need a person to represent them in the USG that has the necessary strength and will. I fill both of these qualifications, and more. I have held several positions on town committees. I co-created my high school's first student government, and I've worked directly with our Attorney General. (0) comments
