After UConn alumna and Chief of Staff for First Lady Laura Bush, Anita McBride's visit to campus at the end of October, local favorite all-male a cappella group the Conn-Men were in for a surprise. "We performed at the annual Alumni Association Awards gala," said Steven Bourque, a 7th-semester music education major and Conn-Men member, "and Anita McBride enjoyed our performance. (0) comments

Sony really managed to botch this release. First, "LittleBigPlanet" (LBP), one of the most anticipated titles for the Playstation 3 (PS3) this holiday season, gets delayed a week because of the inclusion of a song that references the Qur'an even though the song is patched out instead of physically removed from the disc (and is still available as an audio track in the game anyway).
