The men's basketball team goes north on Thursday to take on Buffalo in its first true road-game of the 2008 season. During the Thanksgiving break, the No. 2 Huskies (7-0) played three away games against La Salle, Miami and Wisconsin in the U.S. Virgin Islands Paradise Jam tournament, but those games were played on a neutral court. It was all about offense on Wednesday night, as the No. 1 women's basketball team won 96-37 against Holy Cross. History had once again repeated, at least when looking at the final result. Like last year, when the Huskies routed the Crusaders at the XL Center, 91-36, UConn grabbed the lead and never looked back. (0) comments

Or having one too many drinks at a work holiday party and revealing some embarrassing moment that should have stayed hidden. (1) comment
NFL players have gotten into legal trouble for a variety of idiotic practices over the last few years like Michael Vick's dog-fighting ring, Tank Johnson's fully-stocked arsenal and Pacman Jones's numerous altercations, but Plaxico Burress' shooting himself in the leg is clearly the dumbest incident yet.
