Police have arrested two men accused of robbing a male UConn student at gunpoint during an alleged drug transaction on Feb. 4. Roberto Nadal, of North Windham, and Jonathan Cotto-Rubert, of Willimantic, allegedly held a resident of Brown Hall in Charter Oak Apartments at gunpoint during a planned drug sale and stole approximately $9,000 in property from him, including $6,300 in cash. UConn police have identified the individual whose suspicious behavior caused police to send out an alert text message and e-mail notification to the campus community Saturday night. 2/7 Charles Pollak, 20, of Wilton, was arrested at 5:50 a.m. on North Eagleville Road and charged with third degree burglary and third degree criminal mischief. According to police, Pollak was found to have unlawfully entered a university building and caused minor vandalism to the bathroom within the building. (2) comments
