Two students were crowned UConn's "top chefs" Monday after competing against teams from all over the university in UConn's version of the television cooking competition, called "Top Chef @ Uconn!" in Rome Ballroom. Wenhui Sun and Amir Nasser Bigdeli, Team Wen/Amir, beat nine other teams to win the event, which was sponsored by Hillel, SUBOG and Dining Services. (0) comments

For the next month I'm raising awareness for a men's health issue in the most humiliating way possible: by putting my scraggly, fledgling facial hair on display for the public eye-rolling and mockery. The UConn Jazz Lab Band took to the stage at von der Mehden Recital Hall Monday night to showcase their talents with some energetic music. More than 40 people came to hear the band, directed by John Mastroianni. An up-tempo, 1940s-style swing piece began the night. (1) comment
