Many UConn Football alums received phone calls this weekend as they begin their new chapter: the NFL.
The first Husky off the board was All-American wide receiver Skyler Bell, who was drafted by the Buffalo Bills with the 125th pick. The pick was raved by Carolina Panthers legendary receiver Steve Smith Sr., who said the Bills drafted his favorite receiver in the draft.

With the help of Biletnikoff Award finalist and probable day two NFL draft pick Skyler Bell, Joe Fagnano finished within the top 20 in the NCAA passing yards and touchdowns while completing the eighth most completions per game in the country with 23.75, according to the NCAA website.
