Football: Huskies galore as Bell, Joly get drafted into the NFL

Many UConn Football alums received phone calls this weekend as they begin their new chapter: the NFL. The first Husky off the board was All-American wide receiver Skyler Bell, who was drafted by the Buffalo Bills with the 125th pick. The pick was raved by Carolina Panthers legendary receiver Steve Smith Sr., who said the Bills drafted his favorite receiver in the draft.

Previewing the 2026 UConn quarterback battle

How does a program go about replacing their best quarterback in almost two decades? With the help of Biletnikoff Award finalist and probable day two NFL draft pick Skyler Bell, Joe Fagnano finished within the top 20 in the NCAA passing yards and touchdowns while completing the eighth most completions per game in the country with 23.75, according to the NCAA website.

Football: Army denies UConn of first ever FBS 10-win season

The UConn football team (9-4) fell to the Army Black Knights (7-6) Saturday afternoon, 41-16, to put an end to a historic 2025 campaign.

It’s been almost two weeks since the UConn baseball program (26-20, 10-5) played at its home stadium. Now, UConn students will have the chance to see the squad in action ahead of finals week.  

Softball: UConn heads to D.C. seeking strong finish to the regular season

This weekend, the Huskies will travel to Washington, D.C., to wrap up the regular season with a three-day series at the Mount Vernon Athletic Complex against Georgetown University.
