I was in synagogue this past weekend, atoning for my sins of the past year as part of the Jewish high holiday of Yom Kippur. In my forgiving mood, I forgave family, friends and acquaintances that I may have wronged. I don't know if it was the hunger pangs I was experiencing due to my day-long fast as part of this important religious ritual, but I found myself unable to forgive one particular group of people that have been thorns in my side for far too long: Jets fans.
