Last week in Reno, Nev., an American veteran named Jim Brossard pulled up outside of a local Hispanic-owned bar. Brossard had heard of the bar on local talk radio and had heard that a flagpole outside the bar was flying two flags, one Mexican, the other American. (18) comments

BB Tix sux: that was a message sent to the InstantDaily shortly after the 'winners' of the ticket lottery were announced. I am in a general consensus with the many students who sent in similar messages. BB Tix reminds me of other technical systems at UConn, such as ResLife, Peoplesoft, and most notoriously - Huskymail. Yesterday someone spent an hour in the Student Union sitting at an empty table with a chess board and a sign that read "Play Me." Is it bad that while doing AlcoholEdu after being written up all I want to do is crack open a fresh one ... or 30? For Halloween I'm going to dress up as ResLife. (0) comments
