10. Lite Brite

Lighting up your name is awesome. In fact, lighting up a bunch of colors making a picture of anything is awesome. Lite Brite lit up our little hearts way back when, and even today still makes us want to get lit.

9. Legos

You could actually build anything out of Legos. Days were devoted to the construction of pirate ships, castles and houses, and smashing them was just as fun.

8. Beanie Baby

Lions and tigers and bears, T-Y! These cute, beanie creatures, were the hottest thing to hit during elementary school. Just be careful not to mess with the tag!

7. Furby

One of the creepiest looking toys, this furry little friend spoke to us in tongues as it cuddled. Needing nothing more from us than a few pushes on the tongue, these little creatures loved us.

6. Polly Pocket

With more houses than Paris Hilton, Polly Pocket was the real estate queen who owned our hearts. A hermit that carried her home on her back, Polly was the queen of beach homes, beauty salons, castles and more.

5. Easy Bake Oven

There was nothing better than whipping up brownies, cakes and muffins in your Easy Bake Oven. After mixing up packets of powder, these miniature snacks were devoured in just a few bites.

4. Creepy Crawlers

The macho version of the Easy Bake Oven, Creepy Crawlers were the squishy insects created by baking various colors of goo. You couldn't do much with them, but sometimes you'd get lucky and be able to scare the crap out of mom.

3. Tamagotchi

Our own pooping, eating, playing pet/animal/friend encapsulated in its own little egg. Nothing was more exciting than watching that little guy hatch, and no occasion broke our hearts more than when we saw X's over their little eyes.

2. Pogs

In the early '90s, nothing was better than Pogs. They were a public expression of your personality. Disney characters, skulls, glitter and cartoons galore all graced the backsides of Pogs. No set was complete without a slammer.

1. Barbie

A doctor, tennis player and a woman of the ages, Barbie was a huge part of most little girl's lives. No other woman has starred in more fashion shows, been the master of so many professions, nor been the victim of so many horrendous haircuts.
