1:26 a.m. - Police charged Kyle Wood, 24, of Manchester with failure to drive in the proper lane and operation of a vehicle while under the influence. Wood's vehicle was stopped in L-Lot after the vehicle swerved over the white fog line on King Hill Road. Officers suspected Wood to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs. He was subjected to a series of field sobriety tests, which he failed.

12:13 a.m. - Police charged Ryan Lewis, 20, of Beacon Falls with failure to drive right and operation of a vehicle while under the influence. Police stopped his vehicle after they observed it cross the double yellow line on Alumni Road. Police suspected Lewis to be driving under the influence of alcohol and subjected him to a series of field sobriety tests, which he failed.



9:05 p.m. - Police charged Daniel Salek, 21, of Shelton with procuring alcohol for a minor. After observing Salek deliver alcohol to a female on North Eagleville Road, officers stopped and spoke with Salek. A brief investigation determined that Salek was in fact delivering alcohol to a minor.



11:26 p.m. - Police charged Shawn French, 21, of Warwick, R.I., with creating a public disturbance, improper use of a marker/registration/license and operation of a vehicle while under the influence. Officers observed French operating a vehicle in the parking lot of Coogan Crescent, located in the Celeron Square Apartments, and then drive onto an unpaved portion of a field located off of Coogan Crescent. They then observed French stop the vehicle, exit it and begin urinating outside his vehicle in public view. This area is approximately 300 feet from the Celeron Square Path, where many individuals were walking. After a brief investigation, officers suspected French to be intoxicated and subjected him to a series of field sobriety tests, which he failed.

5:08 p.m. - Police charged Stephen Corbo, 19, of Waterbury with possession of a controlled substance or less than 4 oz. of marijuana. Corbo was seen by an officer in the area of Northwest Residence Hall smoking what the officer suspected was marijuana. After a brief investigation, Corbo was found to be in possession of approximately .5 grams of marijuana.
