New Orleans Hornets
The New Orleans Hornets are going to win the NBA championship this year. The Hornets are legit.
They are big, they are fast and they are smart. Chris Paul will lead the Hornets to the glory land. Followed closely by David West, Tyson Chandler and Peja Stojakovic they are poised for a title.
West and Chandler give the Hornets two guys inside that will offer teams tough matchups.
Paul is your MVP, Byron Scott is your Coach of the Year and this is the best team in the NBA.

Los Angeles Lakers
Kobe Bryant has been tearing up the NBA playoffs so far with an insane 33.5 points, 5.3 rebounds and 6.3 assists per game. He now has Pau Gasol to replace the Shaq figure the Lakers had when they won three straight championships in 2000, 2001 and 2002.
Lamar Odom, Luke Walton and Ronny Turiaf are give the Lakers solid depth.
With Phil Jackson leading the team from the sidelines, the Lakers are a dangerous No. 1 seed that will be the last team standing when the playoffs are done.

Marc: Kobe Bryant has been leading the red-hot Lakers team all-season long. The MVP chants are loud and clear in Los Angeles and this Lakers team will bring the Larry O'Brien trophy home.
Jake: Chris Paul and his New Orleans Hornets have something to say about that. The MVP chants are just as loud and just as clear. This young phenom is ready to bring the title home to the Big Easy.
Marc: Paul has been nothing short of phenomenal this season. But across the board, Bryant has been putting up insane stats this season - 28 points, six rebounds, five assists and two steals per game. Kobe also has one major stat that can't be measured in the regular season and that's veteran leadership in the playoffs.
Jake: With Jason Kidd and Steve Nash out of the playoffs, and Chauncey Billups struggling, it's time for a new point guard to step up - Chris Paul. Point guards and centers win championships and the Hornets have two pretty good ones in Paul and Tyson Chandler. This team is the new face of the NBA.

I think that Boston will win the 2007-2008 championship. Also Garnett, Allen, and Peirce needs the title.
