10.Seton Hall
Big East (2-6-0)
Overall (4-10-2)
Seton Hall finished its regular season with an away loss against Georgetown (1-0). It made postseason with the worst overall record and it would be a genuine surprise if it can beat Villanova in its postseason matchup.

9. Cincinnati
Big East (3-3-2)
Overall (6-8-4)
Cincinnati lost its final game of regular season against Louisville (0-1), and will have the hard job of facing Marquette in its first tournament game.

8. Villanova
Big East (3-3-2)
Overall (11-5-2)
Villanova won its final game against Pittsburgh (4-0) in an easy victory, and will face Seton Hall in postseason. Villanova should go through to quarterfinals, but will then have to face a very tough matchup against tournament favorites UConn.

7. St. John’s
Big East (4-3-1)
Overall (10-3-4)
St. John’s beat Syracuse (1-0) in its final game, but will not have home court advantage in its postseason game against Georgetown. Last year’s Big East champions will have a rough time trying to make quarterfinals this year.

6. Syracuse
Big East (5-3-0)
Overall (12-5-0)
The Orange finished second in the Red Division despite losing its final game against St. John’s (1-0). This gives Syracuse the home court advantage in its game against Notre Dame; however, Notre Dame still appears to be the favorite.

5. Notre Dame
Big East (5-2-1)
Overall (13-3-1)
The Fighting Irish continued to roar in their final games of the season against Marquette. They won their first game against the Golden Gates (3-1), and tied in their final game (1-1). Ryan Finley (Sr.) scored two of the goals of the week and was named Offensive Player of the Week again. Notre Dame will face Syracuse in a difficult away game in the postseason.

4. Marquette
Big East (5-2-1)
Overall (14-2-1)
After spending the whole season undefeated, Marquette lost one of its two last games against Notre Dame, and consequently lost its top seed spot in the Blue Division. The Golden Eagles will now face Cincinnati in postseason, and shouldn’t have too much trouble going through to square off against Louisville.

3. Georgetown
Big East (6-2-0)
Overall (15-2-1)
The Bulldogs nearly took the top seed away from UConn in the final games of the season by winning their last matchup against Seton Hall (1-0). The winning goal was scored by Brandon Allen, who was named Rookie of the Week. The Bulldogs will face St. John’s in their first postseason game.

2. Louisville
Big East (7-1-0)
Overall (12-4-1)
The Cardinals finished the season strong by winning another conference game against Cincinnati (0-1) and remain unbeaten in their last eight matches. Louisville ended the season in the top seed spot in the Red Division, which gives the team the privilege to advance directly to the quarterfinals and face the winner of the Marquette-Cincinnati game.

1. Connecticut
Big East (6-2-0)
Overall (14-2-1)
After spending all season ranked No. 2, the Huskies finally made it to the top of the rankings after beating Providence (2-0) and Marquette’s loss against Notre Dame. This gave UConn the top seed in the Blue Division, which means it will pass directly to quarterfinals in the postseason tournament and will face the winner of the Villanova-Seton Hall matchup.
