Men’s Swimming: The Huskies lost to the Army Black Knights with a score of 167.5-132.5 this past Friday night away in West Point, New York.
Women’s Swimming: The Huskies defeated the Army Black Knights with a score of 174-126 this past Friday night away in West Point, New York.
Women’s Ice Hockey: The Huskies defeated the Syracuse Orange with a score of 4-2 this past Friday night in the Huskies’ home opener. The Huskies got their second victory of the season.
The Huskies then played the Syracuse Orange for a second straight game and lost by a score of 2-0 this past Saturday afternoon at home. The Huskies now have a record of 2-6-1 for the season.
Men’s Ice Hockey: The Huskies lost to the Holy Cross Crusaders with a score of 2-1 this past Friday night in their Atlantic Hockey opener at Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts.
The Huskies then played No. 8 Union and battled to a 2-2 tie at home at the Freitas Ice Forum. With this loss, the Huskies now have a record of 0-2-1 for the season and a record of 0-1-0 in the conference.
Women’s Cross Country: The Huskies competed in the 2012 Big East Championship this past Friday morning in the Bronx. The Huskies finished in second place. Junior Allison Lasnicki finished in fourth place with a time of 20.52.27 to lead all of the runners.
Men’s Cross Country: The Huskies competed in the 2012 Big East Championship this past Friday morning in the Bronx. The Huskies finished in ninth place. Ryan McGuire finished in 34th place with a time of 25:31.21 to lead all of the runners.
Men’s Tennis: The Huskies competed in Connecticut College Championships this past weekend away at Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut.
Field Hockey: The No. 4 ranked Huskies lost to the No. 3 ranked Syracuse Orange with a score of 3-2 this past Saturday evening in Syracuse, New York. With this loss, the Huskies now have a record of 16-2 for the season and a record of 5-1 in the conference.
Women’s Volleyball: The Huskies defeated the Rutgers Scarlet Knights with a score of 3-0 this past Saturday afternoon at home in Storrs, Connecticut. The Huskies then played the Seton Hall Pirates and defeated them with a score of 3-2 this past Sunday afternoon at home. With these two victories, the Huskies now have a season record of 16-10 and a conference record of 7-4.
Men’s Soccer: The Huskies defeated the Providence Friars with a score of 2-0 this past Saturday afternoon at home in Storrs, Connecticut. With this victory, the Huskies won its 12th Big East Regular Season Crown.
Women’s Rowing: The Huskies competed in the Head of the Fish competition this past Saturday.
Women’s Soccer: The Huskies lost to the No. 16 Marquette Golden Eagles with a score of 4-1 this past Sunday afternoon in the Big East Quarterfinals away in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Men’s Golf: The Huskies competed in the Wendy’s Kiawah Classic this past weekend away at Turtle Point Golf Course, Kiawah Island on South Carolina. The Huskies were in ninth place after the first round.
